Last Thursday I had the great pleasure of working with Ali Turnbull at St Bernadette's School in the Adelaide suburb of St Marys. Not only was it the highlight of the week but one of the highlights of the year too.
I've known Ali for 16 years now and have seen her gifts at work in 2 schools. She creates such a love for music but skill too. At her school, not a high socio-economic one, more than half the students learn instruments.
But every child learns an instrument in her classes. Over the years she's created these simple arrangements of our songs that can be played by students in liturgies.
