Act With Grace, Live In Truth by Andrew Chinn (CHORD CHART)
Inspired by a request from Queensland APRE Kelli Broadbent, a reflection on God's Grace based on Jesus healing the Ten Lepers (Luke 17:11-19).
The first verse is based on faith: the ten lepers approached Jesus, believing in his power to heal.
The second verse is centered on praise: one leper, the Samaritan, on realising he had been cured, turned and gave praise to God for the miracle that had healed him.
The third focuses on thanks. The Samaritan, threw himself at the feet of Jesus and thanked him.
The chorus is based on John 1:16-17, "All grace and truth, come through Jesus Christ", and John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life".
The gift of God's Grace, given to the lepers through God's Son, Jesus, is a gift of faith, to be praised, and to be thankful for. And that gift of grace is one we are called to share.
